Tuition Grant Giveaway

The Student Housing Initiative and its real estate club partners (UBC Real Estate Club, UVic Real Estate Club, Beedie Urban Development Program, Rotman Commerce Real Estate Association, and Ted Rogers Real Estate Association) are offering at least five $500 tuition grants to students who submit the survey. The winner of these grants will be chosen randomly, with at least one winner guaranteed from each participating university.

To be eligible to win one of the five grants, you must be a current undergraduate or graduate student at the University of British Columbia, the University of Victoria, Simon Fraser University, the University of Toronto, and Toronto Metropolitan University. For the inaugural year of the Student Housing Initiative, we have only established relationships with these five schools. Should this initiative become an annual endeavour, the team behind it will attempt to get additional universities and funding involved for 2024.

Marketing

The Student Housing Initiative has no plans at this time to send marketing or promotional emails to the list of individuals who complete this year's survey with the exception of the link to complete next year's survey, should there be one. However, should this plan change, the Student Housing Initiative is authorized to send marketing or promotional emails to individuals who complete this survey, as those who do so agree to receive these. Any marketing or promotional emails will not be in adherence with a strict no-spam policy and will include an unsubscribe button at the bottom.
